Preheat pressure cooker or oven to 200°C (400°F). Grease muffin tin or line with paper cases.
Whisk egg and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
Gently fold in grated cheese until evenly distributed.
Spoon batter into tin, filling each cup ⅔ full.
Seal cooker, wait for pressure. When valve hisses, cook 10–15 minutes.
Check doneness with skewer; puffs should be golden and tender.
Notes
Optional toppings: serve warm with extra cheese or butter. Store leftovers in airtight container. Freeze cooked puffs for later. Reheat with steam.
