  • 20 oz Lean ground turkey 93% fat-free
  • 1 Egg white
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 Scallions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger paste or minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cayenne pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 4 Hamburger buns
  • 4 slices Asiago cheese or preferred cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Brown sugar for optional glaze
  • ΒΌ cup Soy sauce for optional glaze
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper sauce for optional glaze

  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, egg white, garlic, scallions, ginger paste, soy sauce, cayenne pepper sauce, and brown sugar.
  • Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Avoid overmixing.
  • Form into 4 evenly sized patties, keeping them thick to retain juiciness.
  • Heat a pressure cooker with a little oil on medium setting. Brown the patties lightly on both sides.
  • Seal the lid and cook on low pressure for 5 minutes. Wait for the float valve to rise indicating full pressure.
  • Once cooking time is done, do a quick pressure release carefully.
  • Place a slice of Asiago cheese on each patty and let it melt while you toast your hamburger buns.
  • Assemble each burger with a bun, patty, melted cheese, and desired toppings or glaze. Serve hot.

Notes

Sweet Hawaiian rolls enhance flavor. Use towel over valve during quick release. Refrigerate leftovers up to 3 days, freeze up to 1 month.
