Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Place the ham on a roasting pan, flat side down.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, and black pepper until well combined.
Using a basting brush, evenly coat the ham with half of the honey glaze mixture.
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil, ensuring that it does not touch the surface of the glaze.
Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 1.5 hours.
Remove the foil and brush the remaining glaze over the ham. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
For an extra crispy glaze, you can broil the ham for a few minutes at the end, but keep a close eye on it to avoid burning.
