Equipment

  • 1 large skillet
  • 1 mixing spoon
  • 1 9x13 inch baking dish
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz can.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots 32 oz bag.

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  • Pour the beef mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can include seasonings like paprika or Worcestershire sauce when browning the beef.
You can substitute the cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken or any other preferred creamy soup.
Feel free to add more vegetables or change them according to your preference.
