  • 10.5 oz Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 can
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 cups Green beans fresh, canned, or frozen
  • 1.5 cups Chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 6 oz Stuffing mix dry
  • 1.5 cups Fried onions divided

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  • Stir in the green beans.
  • Add half of the fried onions to the mixture and stir.
  • Grease a 9×13" baking dish and pour green bean mixture into the dish.
  • Microwave butter in a medium bowl for 30-60 seconds until melted.
  • Add chicken broth and stuffing mix to the melted butter and stir until moistened.
  • Spread the stuffing mixture over the green bean mixture, gently pressing down and smoothing with a spatula.
  • Top with the remaining fried onions.
  • Bake uncovered for 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Cover with foil if the top browns too quickly.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Let the casserole cool to room temperature before storing. For best results, freeze before baking and bake after thawing. Reheat slowly to maintain creamy texture.
