Finely crush the chocolate sandwich cookies in a large mixing bowl using a food processor or a rolling pin.
Combine the crushed cookies with the melted butter in a separate bowl and mix until well combined. The mixture should hold together when pressed.
Press the cookie mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish to form the crust. refrigerate to set.
Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined to create the creamy filling.
Spread half of the caramel sauce evenly over the chilled cookie crust, followed by half of the chocolate fudge sauce.
Pour the cream cheese filling over the caramel and fudge layers, smoothing it out evenly with a rubber spatula.
Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce and chocolate fudge sauce over the top of the cream cheese filling.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans or walnuts evenly on top.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set, preferably overnight.
Once set, cut into squares and serve chilled.
