Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in vanilla extract and chai tea contents until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, cinnamon, and cardamom.
Gradually add the dry mix into the butter mixture. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Shape dough into a log, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for 30 minutes.
Slice chilled dough into ¼-inch rounds and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake 12–15 minutes until edges are light golden brown.
Cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack to finish cooling.
Notes
Try rolling dough between parchment sheets to reduce sticky mess. For shortcut, freeze sliced cookies for 10 mins instead of chilling dough.
