Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium head cauliflower Cut into florets.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk Such as almond or soy.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha Or to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well mixed.
  • Pour in the plant-based milk and mix until you have a smooth batter.
  • Place the panko breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, then roll it in the panko breadcrumbs until evenly coated. Place the coated florets on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower wings are golden brown and crispy.
  • While the wings are baking, prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together the vegan mayonnaise, sriracha, maple syrup, and rice vinegar in a bowl. Adjust the spice level to your preference by adding more sriracha.
  • Once the cauliflower wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Toss them in the Bang Bang sauce until evenly coated.
  • Serve the Vegan Bang Bang Cauliflower Wings warm, garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

You can adjust the heat level of the Bang Bang sauce by adding more or less sriracha based on your preference.
These cauliflower wings pair well with vegan ranch or any other dipping sauce of your choice.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven for best results.
